Turtle Recall

Hey turtle enthusiasts (which every UMD student should be)! My name is Ian Hidalgo and I am a freshman bioengineering major. I've lived in Maryland my whole life and have always loved being here. I wanted to be on the Terps Helping Turtles AB trip because I think that the impact humans have on the environment is something that we need to take responsibility for, and try our best to prevent from developing further. I'm excited to learn all about the Karen Beasley Rehab Center and be a part of the great work that they do there. I am also excited to learn about the broader scope of barrier islands and what we can do to take better care of them. Can't wait for Topsail!
